Our Support Staff
Josh – Practice Manager
Josh grew up outside of Salt Lake City, Utah before moving to the DC area in '07. He entered the pet care world by joining the boarding industry early in his life, where he worked his way up the latter and served as Director of a high-end boarding facility for over 10 years before making the transition to veterinary medicine. With a few years of managing veterinary hospitals under his belt, he is currently working on his CVPM certification. In his spare time Josh enjoys reading, traveling, brewing homemade beer, wine, and mead, playing Dungeons & Dragons, and scuba diving. He and his wife Colleen have three fur-children: Kronk, a one-year-old Great Pyrenees, and two ferrets, Rick and Morty.
Naomi – Client Services
Joining our team in 2007, Naomi brings with her 30 years of experience in hospitality. Passionate about animal welfare, she actively participates in local rescue, fostering, and adoption. At home, she cherishes her time with her many cats and foster pets.
Mike – Vet Assistant
Mike has been a vital part of the veterinary community since his move to the DC area from Detroit in 2022. While he finds fulfillment in caring for dogs and cats, his ultimate dream is to work with large animals at the zoo. When he's not tending to furry patients, Mike enjoys indulging in his hobbies, such as cooking up culinary delights, strumming tunes on his guitar, and passionately cheering for his beloved Detroit sports teams, with a special place in his heart reserved for the Tigers.
Josh – Receptionist
Josh, a Virginia native, is overjoyed to join the Falls Church Vet family as he embarks on a career transition toward animal science. When he's not immersing himself in the world of animals, Josh dedicates his time to theatre production in the vibrant DC-VA area. His aspirations include furthering his education to become a licensed vet tech, with a keen interest in studying and aiding larger felines like lions and tigers.
Tamika – Receptionist
Tamika became a valued member of our team in the Summer of 2023, bringing with her the warmth of Maryland's sunshine. Her love for animals led her to pursue a career as a certified vet tech assistant, where she thrives. With 20 years of marriage and three wonderful children, her home is a bustling hub of love and laughter, complete with an awesome cat and three delightful dogs who add to the joy.
Ana – Kennel Assistant
Ana is dedicated to caring for the animals in our kennels. Outside of work, she supports her community as a devout churchgoer.
Kel – Kennel Manager
Kel is our kennel manager, everyone calls her 'Boogie' because she is always on the move! With nearly 11 years in veterinary medicine, her passion for animals runs deep—she's been surrounded by dogs and cats her entire life and currently share her home with three furry companions. When Kel is not at work, you can find her hanging out with her family, playing with her beloved pups, or diving into some video games.
One day, Kel aspires to become an animal control officer, advocating for the welfare of our furry friends. Nothing warms her heart more than the thought of being a voice for animals and educating the public on responsible pet ownership. Waking up every day to provide top-notch care for your beloved pets is truly the highlight of her life.
Skylar – Kennel Assistant
Skylar's lifelong affinity for animals has been a driving force throughout her journey. With two years of experience at a bustling doggy daycare and now a valued member of the Falls Church team, her dedication to the well-being of furry companions is unwavering. In addition to her canine experiences, Skylar shares her life with her cat, Minnie.
